You're not the same anymore... — Description

It would seem that the course of the war was turned around thanks to Twilight and friends who were able to defeat one of the strongest enemies who attacked Equestria - Tirek. He didn't have an army, he just devastated, that's his weakness. But... The remaining enemies in the form of Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra with their numerous armies of werewolves and umbrum, delayed the Great War for many years... Until Equestria began to lose rapidly due to an infection of unknown origin. It mowed down the ponies one by one. One thing became clear that this was an analogue of the deadly rabies virus they already knew, but which is now not tolerated by animals. The properties are still the same, infection and death occur within a week. From seizures and photophobia, to uncontrollable aggression and a desire to attack everyone. The ending is death in a coma... While on patrol, Dash suffered a bite from one of the poor fellows, who was already on his deathbed, mistaking him for a simple wounded fighter. Her little son and her husband, a war invalid, were waiting for her at home.

Back then, the infections were isolated, no one understood anything. Fire Streak noticed a change in her behavior. At night, Rainbow had seizures with foam coming out of her mouth. She was strangely staring unblinkingly at him, then at her son. She was recovering, but she was only more distant than ever. Everyone was scared, everyone was on edge. Until Rainbow Dash confessed, in a fit of aggression.

"I've always given a damn about you! I just wanted to connect with someone from the Wonderbolts, it didn't even matter who! But Soarin refused me. You were just the one who just got caught by me in desperation. And then Air Rush appeared! We had to get married just because of him. But I just wanted more fame. Like the Wonderbolt family and that's it! Just because there have never been such Wonderbolts in the history of the world!"

These were the most devastating words for Fire Streak. He did not say on their wedding day, or now, that he had resigned only for the sake of the Rainbow. He had loved her for a long time, so he made room for her in the ranks of the Wonderbolts. But it didn't matter anymore. Fire said nothing and went to calm his son, who was sobbing with fear. Who knew that this was the beginning of the end... And more than a week has passed since the infection of the Rainbow, but there are only the first signs of infection. What's going to happen?
