Description Chapter 6: Round One - Fight To The Death, Literally.

I tried to listen to Xemnas and not pay attention to what Xigbar was instructing Spunk to do. My thoughts must have been getting into "horror movie" mood, because I could swear that by reading the Sharpshooter's lips I heard him say "aim for the legs, then take her down."
I shook my head and focused all of my attention onto Xemnas. Wasn't his hair too long and too gray to be respectable? No! Focus.
I squinted my eyes. Focused.
"That is why we've moved the test forward," Xemnas cleared his throat quickly, going on. Wait, I thought to myself, leaning forward a bit to get a better look. Who was that standing next to Xemnas? "And, I'd like to introduce my apprentice as well for this challenge. She's very shy, but don't count her out just yet." A slow smirk crept up his tan lips as he put a hand onto the much shorter member's cloak.
She were short, I'll give you that. In comparison to Roxas, maybe just a tad shorter. I couldn't see her face, but for the edge of her nose and very tip of her chin. I brushed it off, she couldn't be much of a match anyway.
"Now," Xemnas had produced a piece of paper from his coat. Not a big piece, but one that could be easily concealed in his large hands. "The first match between the competors wills be as follows. The winners will then face off in another match. After that, it will be a race through the Castle, and the first one to the designated spot will be crowned the winner." Xemnas paused, looking out among the apprentices, and the other members. "There will be no runner ups," his gaze turned from the teenagers to the other members, "And absolutely no helping one another." Xemnas glared at Xigbar who just held up his hands with a sly grin.
"Sure sure, don't get your knickers in a twist, dude!" Then he turned over to face in Vexen's direction with smirk. "Oh, sorry man, that was for Vexen."
"I wouldn't be talking, Xigbar." Vexen kept a straight face back at the Sharpshooter until the last moment, where he gave the most natural grin I could have ever seen on him. "Your not the one who bet against your apprentice."
A tone of accusing "Oohs!" filled the gym whereas Xigbar started to flush a bright pink around the tips of his ears.
"You what?!" Spunk glared up at Xigbar.
"Dude, I swear that old man's lying!" Xigbar held up his hands and started to apologise profusely to Spunk when Xemnas cleared his throat.
"As I was saying," Xemnas creased the paper in his hands. "First we have Riplax vs Dinevx; Rolytax vs Galexse; Belcax against my apprentice here; Takedax vs Axxm; and finally Bruxy vs Crayex."
"Man, I don't want to go last," I said under my breath. "And to Crayex no less.."
Xemnas cleared his throat one last time and then look at the crowd. "I look forward to seeing you excel," It sounded so much like the speech that my teacher had given us right before we took a big test. "and to ripping one another's throats out." Xemnas finished with a big smile.
Okay, that last part didn't really sound like my math teacher.
Vexen put his hand on my shoulder and looked around slowly. "If your going to be fighting against Crayex, we should talk strategy." He started to pull me off to the side of the crowd as Dinevx and Spunk started to move into the center of the gym. Sloppy lines had been drawn in the center and the edges to mark where each match was to be contained. The rest of the Organization members and students had started to scatter all around, placing bets as to who the winner of the match would be. The bigger crowd seemed to be around Spunk and Dinevx at the moment, Xigbar was collecting bets for either side, and everyone wanted to see Spunk get sliced in half by Dinevx's large double sided axe.
Demyx and Luxord, as well as Vexen and I stood around Roltayx and Galexse as they warmed up for their fight after Spunk and Dinevx's.
I couldn't help by glance back over at Spunk and Dinevx, hoping that Spunk would lose to Dinevx. His cameo greem gun looked to be from Star Trek, and a collectible one at that. It was maybe a good arm's length long and didn't look like it could harm a fly.
Dinevx's weapon on the other hand was much more scary. A double sided battle axe that must have been Lexeaus' when he was younger. It's blades glinted a golden yellow when caught in the light just right, and the handle looked to be made of a polished bronze. It stood 3 feet high with blades that took up a two thirds of it's height.
Spunk didn't even bat an eyelash at it, throwing his head back to look at Xigbar, he yelled, "Are we gonna start sometime today, Xig-meister?"
"Yeah, yeah," Xigbar handled the rest of the bets into his pockets and turned around proudly to the two. "Yeah! Alright, let's get this thing going!" Xigbar cracked his knuckled and stood an equal distance from the two.
"First one to faint, die, or call "uncle" is considered the loser, and will be eliminated from the competition!" Xigbar announced in his best voice.
"Um, what happens when we're "eliminated"?" A voice from the side of the crowd asked, I couldn't see them, but it sounded like it might've been Belcax.
"Ohohoh, see now that's the fun part!" Xigbar got a twisted grin onto his face. "Not even I know that!"
An erie silence fell onto the students, while Xigbar laughed about how gulliable they were. After a quick slap on the knee, and one across the back of his head from Xemnas, the fight was ready to start.
"Oh, and don't be afraid to play dirty!" Xigbar called. "Sora may be nice, but we sure aren't!"
And with that, the fighting began.

For a moment, Dinevx and Spunk just stared at each other, waiting for the other to make a move. Spunk adjusted his eyepatch in his spikey hair nonchantly, while Dinevx glared at him.
"Are we gonna just stand here or what?" Dinevx said lowly after a moment, his grip on his handle tightening.
"Come at me, bro." Spunk hissed through his teeth, smirking back at Dinevx, raising his gun up to aim at his opponet.
Dinevx's eyes widened as he brought up his axe to shield his face while Spunk shot several rounds at him. Spunk moved closer to Dinevx, taking his time to whittle down the space between the two. Dinevx wasn't even moving at this point, he was stuck in a defensive posture.
"I've got all the time in the world, Dee, now are you gonna give up now or do I have to shoot you in the leg?" Spunk blew a stray hair out of his face, letting up on his bullets for a moment.
Dinevx peeked out from behind his bladed sheild, it also hiding the small smile that was slowly creeping up on his face as he examined his distracted opponet.
"So sorry, man. Didn't know you had a scheduale to keep." Dinevx started to move forward towards Spunk, raising his axe slightly in front of himself. Spunk was too busy polishing his gun as Dinevx stepped slowly closer.
"Nah, man." Spunk didn't even look up as he finished spit cleaning his weapon, as if the two weren't fighting, but were back in the cafeteria, throwing food at one another. "It's cool."
"Don't you mean, chopped?" Dinevx's weapon was above his shoulders now as Spunk looked up.
"Why the hell would I say--" Spunk's eyes widened as he slide backwards on the heels of his boots to try and avoid the incoming blade. "Shit!"
Dinevx brought down his axe onto Spunk's shoulder, cutting through the coat's thin material and leaving a large gash, splattering blood onto the floor. Instantly, Spunk put his left hand over his shoulder to stem to flow and raised his right back up to aim at Dinevx. "One good shot.."
"Are you sure you can aim right?" Dinevx smirked at Spunk, waltzing around him, then dived forward and nailed Spunk right in his cheek with a fist. Spunk was knocked to his knees from the punch, nursing his shoulder as he tried to wobbily stand.
"The pain must be so umbarable you can't even speak! Just like that time in gym class when you tripped and scrapped your knee on the asphalt. You had everyone crying over you, like a big baby! I wonder if you'll have to be escorted out in a wheel chair like last time." Dinevx stepped away and put his hand to his chin, thinking, and not paying attention to Spunk as he should have been.
"So much blood lost already, who knows if the girlies'll even want to come near you?"
"Sh-shut-up!" Spunk winced, trying to raise his right arm up but couldn't more than about halfway.
"Why?" Dinevx asked, looking back at Spunk.
Spunk's black torso was now sticky and shiny with blood. "I'm the normal one here, the one who's not as special as the guy next to him! You've got an eyepatch for goodness sake! I'm going to win this just to shove it in your face, April!" Dinevx's hands clenched around his bladed axe, glaring down and away from Spunk.
Spunk winced and took this chance to aim right up at Dinevx's head, then pulled the trigger with a small groan of pain.
Dinevx looked back to Spunk to gloat once more on an earned victory, only to see a bullet speeding and bury itself inside his skull right between his eyes. Dinevx didn't feel a thing, much less known it was coming. He crumpled to the floor like a burned-out piece of paper. The bullet left a messy hole in the forehead, orange and purple hair now messy with blood as more trickled out and onto the polished wooden floor where it was pooling.
"Shove that," Spunk spat, still on his wobbily knees  and wincing, either because of the pain in his shoulder, or the thought that he had just killed one of his friends.
Some people in the crowd couldn't breath, or couldn't remember how to. The first round, first fight even, and someone had been killed. His blood was still there, the pool growning darker and bigger by the minute.
Spunk sank even more onto his knees, his head bent over. His gun dropped to the floor, and he was breathing so heavily that if he kept it up he would forcibly make himself pass out.
Xigbar rushed next to his apprentice, trying to help him back onto his feet. After a moment of silence, Spunk coughed, and Xigbar named him the winner of his match.
"I.. won?" Spunk said hazily, being more of dragged than helped, to the sidelines.
"Yep, you did." Xigbar turned from his apprentice towards Lexeaus. "Get that kid outta here." He nodded his head towards the limp body that was no longer Dinevx.
"Sure. Tell me who wins." Lexeaus said flatly, no emotion whatsoever. Maybe that was because his apprentice was dead. Maybe he was just naturally monotone. Who knew?
But as he picked up Dinevx's body Lexeaus didn't even look sad, more of like a "I'll see you later" sort of face. And to be honest it was kinda creepy.

After Lexeaus was gone, the blood was cleaned up, and Spunk the crybaby was patched up, the attention moved over towards Roltayx and Galexse.
"O-kay! You two ready to go at it?" Xigbar was just bouncing full of happiness, looking from Galexse to Roltayx and then back again.
"Yeah.. I guess so?" Galexse said at length, looking at Xigbar with apprension.
Roltayx ran a hand threw his thin blonde hair, shaking his head slowly. "Let's try and not be as violent as them, right G?"
"Right, 'tax." Galexse nodded, taking up the other side of the mat as Roltayx fiddled with the strings of his weapon.
Roltayx had an old school style Chinese yo-yo, with one foot by one inch handles and that were painted with bright blue and yellow stripes that ended with a nice sharp spike at the end. The clear ball that ran across the two and a half foot long rope was maybe half a foot big. Roltayx flung it across on shoulder, holding the two handles together so that it looked like a moderatly nicer version of a spiked mace.
Galexse took up a stance with her weapon over her head. A simple golf club, a driver to be specific, with a nice wooden finish at the bottom and a blue handle at the top. The two of them grinned at one another, holding so still that I wasn't even sure if they were breathing.
Xigbar raised up a hand, glanced at the floor, then brought his hand down. "Begin!"
Roltayx flew forward as Xigbar's hand dropped, swinging his weapon around to his front and aiming at Galexse's side. Galexse stuck down her golf club in front of Roltayx's weapon, letting it wrap itself around her weapon. She gave it a good yank, trying to pull the weapon from Roltayx's grip, but he wouldn't give. He kept a good grip on it, letting Galexse tug him this way and that in vain.
Roltayx gave a quick flick of his wrist and untangled his yo-yo from her weapon, sliding back a few feet to rethink his moves. Galexse took a short breath and grinned at him, her eyes in slits.
"What, are you taking notes on how to be cool?" She taunted, holding her golf club by it's blue handle straight at Roltayx. "Jesus, get a fucking pen!"
Roltayx rolled his eyes and took a slow step towards Galexse, holding his weapon like a mace. "This is incredibly silly." He smirked, picking up his pace before he ran forward, aiming for her head. He faked out as she brought up her golfclub to block him, and slammed the giant yo-yo part of his weapon into  her leg, causing her to fall.
Roltayx slid behind her, and wrapped his weapon around Galexse's throat in a tight grip. Not tight enough to cause blood, but tight enough to where she couldn't breath.
Roltayx held his grip firm as Galexse struggled to move out from under his weapon. She flung her arms behind her neck to try and find something, anything to grab onto to help her escape. But as her head began to sway slightly and her arms wouldn't move as sharply, Roltayx knew that he had won.
Roltayx released his grip on Galexse's neck as she limped slowly to the ground. He was panting, and let his weapon drop down and clatter against the floorl.
"Man.. no more fighting girls for me.." He chuckled lightly to himself, running a hand through his sweaty hair.
"And the winner is, Roltayx!" Xigbar cheered, then turned back to Demyx. "Alright man, you know what to do."
"Aww but she was so much fun!" Demyx whined sadly, walking slowly over to Galexse. He picked her up slowly, putting one hand under her knees and the other behind her shoulders. Demyx lifted her up with a small "oof", then preceded to carry her out the main gym doors.

After a brief paused moment, the crowd's murmuring grew louder as the pushed Belcax to the front. He looked around anxiously before stepping into the fighting area.
"H-hello?" Belcax called nervously. After the last two rounds, who could blame him?
From the side of Xemnas a black hooded figure walked forward to stand across from Belcax. Belcax held out his hand with the intention of shaking his opponet's.
"Let's have a good fight, huh?" Belcax gave a weary smile at the hooded girl who just stood infront of him, staring.
She didn't say anything, but from out of her sleeve produced a keyblade. A shining one, with a silver blade and a golden handle.
"H-hey!" Belcax's eyes widened, darting from his weapon to hers, then to Xigbar. "I-is that even legal?!"
Xigbar scratched his head for a moment, then turned to look at Xemnas.
"Can she do that?"
Xemnas paused, then nodded slightly with a smile on his face. "Yes, she can."
Belcax's heart went into his throat, and it showed. He gripped onto his weapon, a five foot long spear. It alternated a soft yellow silver and a light sky blue across the whole of it. Each end was spiked, with a single spike, about two inches long.
Her head was bent down, and Belcax stood awkwardly five yards away.
Xigbar moved inbetween them after again collecting bets for this round, and held up a hand. "Ready?"
A short nod came from Belcax. "Y-yeah."
A slow, drawn out one came from his opponet, followed by a sweet, light voice that seemed like it hadn't spoken for a long time. "Yes."
"Then, begin!" Xigbar nodded and brought down his hand in a flash.
The hooded girl brought her keyblade up to point it at Belcax, not moving at all. How could she see him with her face under the hood? I wondered, but kept watching.
Belcax held up his weapon with two hands infront of his chest, let out a big breath, then whipped it around his head until it was above his left shoulder.
He waited for a moment, waited for her to make the first move. Waited for some hint about her. Who was this girl?
But he couldn't have been wondering long, for his opponet charged straight for him, still keeping her head down, but her weapon up and aimed for his chest.
Belcax brought his spear down at the last moment, putting it between himself and the keyblade. He pushed her off with it, skidding back a few feet himself.
He caught his breath and raised his spear again as she repeatedly tried to bring down her keyblade onto his chest. Belcax was able to defend himself well, until he backed up to gain ground and ended up tripping on his own foot.
He landed on his back completely, his spear bouncing out of his hands and off to the side. Belcax tried to prop himself up with one hand to get back into the fight, but was knocked down to the floor by a foot in his chest. He felt a sharp pain in his chest as he winced, and made short anxious looks up at the girl. Her eyes glared down at him through the darkness of the hood, as she raised up her keyblade and hovered it over his face for a moment.
Belcax gulped quickly, his hand groping the space around his side, desperatly searching for his spear.
The hooded girl glanced over to his hand and with a blank stare, took her foot off her foot from Belcax's chest. He relaxed for a split second after her foot was off his chest, but groaned again as her knee jabbed even worse into his rib cage.
"H-hey! That's my ribs there.." He tried to moved out from under her as she put her other knee onto his wrist. "And my hand.." He said a little deflated.
Belcax turned his head to the side and cried out as the keyblade was lowered to his neck, pressing the cold metal to his skin.
"I-I.." His eyes were shut tightly closed. "I give! Don't hurt me!" He yelled out, but she didn't move. His black cloaked opponet only lowered her weapon when Xemnas told her to from the sidelines.
She stepped away, and Belcax sighed with unthinkable relief.
Xaldin started to walk over to Belcax, but the apprentice didn't see him until he was only a few feet away, as he was still laying on the floor. The Lancer frowned at his apprentice, but didn't say a word. This caused Belcax to frown also as he picked himself up from the floor. He didn't bother picking up his spear. He'd barely used it anyway. Xaldin started for the other end of the gym, and Belcax instinctively followed after him. He gave one last look back behind him to see Spunk, and gave a forced smile.
"A-april! Good luck!" Belcax turned to wave, but Xaldin grabbed him by the hood, and pulled him the rest of the way out of the gym.

Takedax's head shot up from her heated discussion with Zexion, her mentor, as her name was called. Briefly, her eyes flicked around to the other members of her part of the organization. Her maroon eyes met dark brown and she nodded. She had only known Bruxy for a considerably small amount of time, but still. In the depths of her thoughts she missed hearing who she was fighting. As she drew her fans and poised for a fight, Axxm walked onto the mat.
"A-Axxm?" Takedax stuttered, standing up straight again. "No way, that's not fair what so ever!" She shouted at Xigbar and Spunk, who was still nursing at his shoulder and forced a grin back at her, "Damn it, you knew Spunk! Heck, I'm willing to bet you set this up!" The one-eyed  pair shrugged innocently as Axxm slipped his own weapon from his pocket. Takedax growled, then settled in a crouch again.
Axxm sighed, displaying metal claws on both his hands, "I don't want to do this any more then you Také. But if we want to be number 14, we have to." his violet eyes flashed sincerely before they steeled over. He graced her one last sad smile, as she flicked her fans open.
"Better say your good by-"
"Just start us please." Axxm cut in, quite uncharacteristic for his normally sophisticated and tradition-bound attitude. Takedax smiled and nodded, better to get it over with soon.
"Go ahead then, rip each other to shreds. You know the rules." With that, the battle begun.
Axxm made the first move, dashing forward and slashing neatly at her chest with a finesse that was all Axxm. However, Takedax had flipped backwards out of reach. His claws caught the leather by her thigh and ripped a nice long gash, displaying her bare legs, Takedax chuckled, "Hey! This just so happens to be my favorite coat!"
He smiled, "It's your only coat darling." He slashed again, but Takedax snapped her fan closed and swatted his hand away like a pesky fly, "Your aim and acrobatics have improved greatly!" Her move brought him much closer to her, she raked the tip of her fan across his cheek.
Takedax smiled as he jumped back, stunned, "First blood~!" came her sing-song tone.
He smiled, "Don't treat this like training!" he yelled the last word, charging her again. His voice rumbled through her being, deep and strong for the man who owned it. The barrage came swiftly, leaving Takedax on defense with just enough time to flick her fans open again. His claws made a metallic scraping every time they met her fan, she couldn't hold out much longer. He could last hours on offence, she knew that much for sure. In a last ditch effort she dropped to the floor and rammed her elbow up into his ribs from below. She heard a sickening crack.
Axxm flopped none to gracefully on his side, grasping his rib cage and coughing up a fit, "Axxm?" she asked nervously, standing and folding her fans again.
He chuckled and launched himself up and tackled her, "Your biggest weakness was always your caring for us. That hurt you know."
Takedax smiled sweetly, "Good, it was supposed to!" She chuckled, then kicked him in the head by swinging her legs up behind him. He reeled forward, Takedax took advantage of this and punched him solidly in the gut, sending him flying over head.
She coughed, covering it with her hand and finding blood when she pulled back, being on defense had tore her up pretty bad, "Time to return the favor," she mumbled, lining her fans up just right and getting serious. A light flicked through Axxm's eyes as he recognized the stance. Memories flooded the space between them, pranks on Saix, books in the library, food fights, training together, scars earned. They had been some of the first ones here. Now, they were expected to throw that all down the drain? The moment passed and the heat of the room crashed down on them. The couldn't just throw down there weapons and walk out, it didn't work that way, not here.
"Finally getting serious?" Axxm grinned devilishly, "About time."
Takedax laughed, "You always did like a good fight, beneath that posh exterior." They both chuckled and smiled as they went at it again. She dashed under his outstretched arm and raked the poisoned tip of her fan across his side. It cut cleanly through the leather and his shirt, the poison setting into his bloodstream.
Axxm spun around, raking his claws down her back and revealing her bound chest beneath the leather, "Come on darling, you gotta make a lethal attack if you want to-" his eyes went wide and his pupils dilated.
"I am serious Axxm," She tackled him to the ground and pinned him down, "Please, just forfeit, I really don't want to kill you." she sighed and smiled slightly when he shook his head.
"Také, think for a moment,"Axxm met her fearful maroon eyes with his strong purple, "Think, how do I return to Saix or my family after this?" he whispered.
She hung her head, "Okay, I'm sorry then."
He smiled, "I understand, good day Také." he closed his eyes as she pulled out a single long acupuncture needle. She pierced her lips and drove it through his heart. His head lulled to one side, a small smile on his lips. He looked almost peaceful. She stood, leaving her needle there, and walked back to Zexion.
"You did what's right Takedax." Zexion put a hand on the small of her back, "He wouldn‘t have wanted to die at anyone else's hand." Across the arena, Saix had his head hung low as he walked to his apprentice's limp body. The mentor was able to pick up Axxm's body with a graceful ease, then with a wisk of feet he was out of sight.

Xigbar didn't waste a moment after that, and called out what I had been dreading. "Bruxy and Crayex! Get up there right now!"
I wanted to be swallowed up by my coat, but I don't think that they would have allowed that.  They probably would have sent someone after me.
I walked up to the area, my slingshot in hand. How the hell was I supposed to fight against Crayex with a pointy slingshot for Xemnas's sake?!
Crayex was much better suited. His weapon was a circular chakram, like Axel's. He only had one though, and it had five curved blades that all stemmed from the center. The center circle was a deep red and maybe a half foot around, and each of the blades was an easy foot long, and a fading red to orange.
I sighed and looked down at my weapon. A measly slingshot, that was sharp at the bottom of the handle, and at the top of the other two points. It was a silvery blue, and I had a pocketfull of ammo that Vexen slipped me right before he pushed me onto the arena.
Xigbar was back at his post, and an equal distance from both of us. Crayex winked and waved at me, and I waved back with a small grin.
I didn't even hear Xigbar shout "go" but suddenly there was Crayex rushing forward at me with all his speed. I stood frozen, no idea what to do as Crayex brought his curved weapon up to his side.
I looked down at my weapon quickly, then back up at him. I fumbled my hand into my pocket as I tried to reach some of my ammo, pulling out a few pieces and loading one.
I shot one, and it nicked him on the shoulder. Crayex didn't even register it as I loaded and shot him again, this time he swerved out of it's range.
"Stay still!" I shouted as Crayex turned to start running circles around me from fifteen feet away.
Crayex just stuck his tongue out at me as I continued to aim and miss at him. I couldn't keep this up, he was just too fast; besides I was starting to get dizzy.
On a split second Crayex turned inwards on his circle towards me, moving in for the kill.
My eyes widened as he came closer, running with his weapon in his right hand ready to slice at me. I did what my gut told me to do, which was start running. My feet must have no gotten the right message though, and started running towards Crayex. Crayex seemed confused as I ran towards him for a moment, but then went back to that cool grin. I held out my weapon in my right hand, and closed my eyes tight.
From the side view, it must have been pretty cool. At the split moment when we met side by side my weapon scraped a deep line into Crayex's stomach and cut through his coat's material to get to it. His made a long curved line down my arm from my shoulder to my elbow, another blade of his nicked the top of my shoulder as he passed around to move away.
I didn't want to look at my arm, because I knew if his weapon cut deep enough and there was bone visible I would pass the hell out and not wake up for days.
His chakram of sorts was sharp, and I frowned. How was I supposed to beat this guy? He was obviously smart than me, I mean, I brought a sword to a gun fight.
Well, no. Dinevx had been the poor fellow of that saying.
"Maybe if I stab him enough times he'll give up," I said quite under my breath, turning around to see Crayex holding his stomach with a bloody hand. His head was down, but his eyes were shaking and watching me as I moved slowly closer to him.
Crayex held his weapon up to the side, looking like he was about to throw it at me. "Don't even think about shanking me again."
I held up my hands, now totally at a loss for words, or a plan. When I put my right arm up I felt the trickles of blood go down my arm and into my coat. I could really use a bandaid. But not as much as Crayex could.
Now he was struggling to stand up, his face torn up with pain. I dropped my arms and walked in front of Crayex, kneeling down to look at him.
His wound looked pretty bad but I couldn't see the worst of it as he had convered his hand over it. But it was stupid of me to think that he was defensless in this state. I had to win this, even if it was just to rub it in Spunk's face.
I gulped softly and went to bring my hand with my weapon up to stab his other side, but Crayex gave a grin and a small smile.
"Hey.. you said you weren't gonna shank me, bro.." Crayex raised his head up.
"I never said that," I said sadly.
"Hey.. hey, Bruxy.." Crayex straightened up as much as he could. "Hey, watch this.."
"Crayex..?" I asked slowly as I saw him drop his chakram from his hand, hearing it hit the floor with a loud echo. Then watching as Crayex with his small grin towered over me. It took me a moment to realize he was falling.
"Trust fall."
Crayex fell onto me and I tried to catch him, I honestly did. But he slid out of my arms and fell to the floor in a heap.
I looked aound confused, not even sure if Crayex was faking it or if he was dead, or what.
"Eh, I think he passed out," Came Xigbar's uncertain voice from the sidelines. "Yeah, let's call it that. Okay, Axel, get him outta here!"
I didn't move until after Axel had dragged Crayex away by his hood. He left a little trail of blood from his hand as he was dragged to the doors, and I watched until he was gone.
"I swear, if he doesn't die," I moved off to the sidelines with a small shake of my head. "I'm going kill that bozo myself."
