Mermaidz yay — Description
so funny story that it aCTUALLY INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING.

I worked on this all last night and for two hours today and am super in love with it. "But Rodo, why is it a crappy photo taken with your camera phone instead of an actual file?" Well precious, innocent child, it's a crappy photo taken of a beautiful file because my computer shut down just as I was saving it to .jpg format. Apparently my system had an 'unexpected problem' and turned itself off, literally right as I was re-saving. Now, before you tell me that I should have saved it while working on it, let me tell you, I DID. I had it saved as a PSD like I do with all pictures I'm still working on. I was actually getting ready to submit it here , and like normal I was 'Save as'ing, so there was no reason that my original files should have been corrupted beyond use. So that's what I spent my Easter doing, stressing over stupid things that shouldn't have happened. But whatever, I'll learn from this and be ultra careful from now on to never trust Photoshop to keep its crap together.
Thankfully I'd had a scare that Photoshop was going to crash on me before all this and was able to snap a few pics of the almost-finished product.

HAPPY EASTER and all that jazz, I'm going to bed.
