Artificized Races — Description
The mysterious Artificers appear to have a great deal of interest in manipulating the life of the land - in this case, the races which humanity has come to (more or less) coexist with. Through the Artificers' interference, the humble half-animal people of the world have gradually been deformed and mutated into bestial parodies of their former selves, their former humanity snuffed out by the animalistic nature of their new minds. Their feral tendencies vary between species; many are outwardly aggressive and violent to invaders or trespassers and are more than willing to rip them apart for whatever reason their instinct directs. Others are more docile and will not attack unless provoked; however, any attempt at humane interaction will be met with disregard as the once-intelligent creatures no longer possess this innate ability of civility in their new lives.
