Spring heeled Jack — Description

Starting to slow down a bit with the comictober pages, I think I need to rest up a bit before I can really power through and finally@finish it XP
Something a bit different for today though, a piece of folklore on an old fashioned boogeyman that terrorised London, #springheeledjack described as a demonic looking phantom with leathery wings, fiery red eyes, breathing blue fire, sharp claws and as described, can leap really well.
Its not as well known as most monsters, if it can even be called one; it’s described as a supernatural being but in illustrations looks more like an old timey supervillain XD I wanted to focus more on the supernatural aspect (and yes I gave him literal springs, don’t worry about it XP)
Wanted to try a bit more with the atmosphere and setting for this one, a sort of urban street at night, an ill wind blowing, and be towering architecture in the background and the Victorian street houses in the foreground, and a lampost to really emphasise the eerieness of the moment.
Much like the mothman I like this creature just because of how bizzare and uncharacteristic of other ghosts and goblins told at the time.
