(out of character talking as me): Its called being in character, when is the last time you saw Alucard take anyΒ s#*$ from anyone other than Integra? Also, depending on what sources you use, Alucard himself does not really have a soul, at the very least his soul would not be obtainable by you, he is true undead after all, it is stated plane and simple that the only way to take or hurt any ofΒ his souls is to pierce his heart with blessed silver, dark sorcery works as well within the TV show but that's not considered cannon.
