Another monster drawing. Sorry to my watchers who don't like creepy and macabre things; I enjoy drawing them. Very similar to another monster of mine [link]Same technique of mixing/matching human anatomy in an unnatural way. Drawn with black, brown, and red Micron pens.

Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure. I've been collecting anatomy for artists for years, they definitely help. My monsters are usually just humans with exaggerated or mismatched parts; arms, legs, teeth, etc. Or with those parts bending/twisting in an unnatural way. Imagine what someone looks like trying to scratch an itch in the middle of their back; their arms and shoulders are bending and straining. Drawing that, you'd want to portray those taut muscles and tendons straining with effort just under the skin. And seeing that also helps the limbs appear more connected to the body, not just pasted on. [link]
