Gradual changes — Description

Every session a little closer, every session a little prettier, every session a little dumber. The salon had promised to turn her into the perfect wife, ditzy and demure, perfect and pretty, servile and submissive, vapid and vain. The ideal homemaker. The perfect domestic goddess. Most girls recruited by the Stepford salon were unwilling converts, she was so very different. She had sought them out, she had put her considerable skills to find people who were willing to change her so that she could live out her fantasy. She had excelled at every test, she had risen so high in her career. She had earned so many promotions and raises and she just wasn't happy. She turned to a world of fantasy. The things that turned her on but that she could never tell a living soul about.
When she looked at vintage films she adored the fashions and the gender roles. Being the little woman, the wifey, the housefrau. All she wanted was to be under the thumb of a dominant man who would put her in her place and keep her there. But her life and training had taken her so far away from that ideal that it seemed unreachable. And then she learned about Stepford, an idealised town where she could be altered to fit right in. Physically and mentally. Her ideal life just an arranged wedding away. Conditioned into domestic perfection. All her worries and concerns taken care of by her superiors. Her job just to be dumb and pretty and serve and submit. It was what that little secret part of her wanted. And Stepford dangled her dream in front of her just out of reach. But there was a price. Money she had but that wasn't what they wanted. They wanted something so much more. They wanted her to recruit for them. Girls she met in the gym, girls she met partying, girls she met at various events. She'd invite them to the salon, her treat and they'd start their journey to Stepford perfection. After 1-2 girls they'd move her on to a new job in a new town where she'd find new girls and deliver them to their Stepford superiors. She'd be in the chair next to them. Her treatments was slower. Taking away her education piece by piece. Shifting her interests gradually. Her alterations were gradual. Turning the smart city girl into a happy bubbly airhead. She was becoming a gym obsessed doll who spent her time on the exercise bikes and treadmills enthralled by the latest reality show or celebrity gossip. Her home library was gathering dust after being replaced by fashion and homemaking articles. Her old life was boring and had no part in the future Stepford was changing her for. Her shopping expeditions where replacing her wardrobe with items she always adored but would never have bought for herself and now couldn't imagine her life without them. She could feel the changes they were doing to her and she welcomed each and every one. Sometimes she'd meet a girl in her daily routine and befriend them. Stepford was watching her and would soon let her know if and when she should invite her new friend to the salon. Other times she was asked to befriend a girl they already had an eye on. At first she had loved choosing the girls, leading them unwittingly into a new life. They'd love their new life. She had seen so many after they were changed. She loved being around those girls. They were her best friends. She could see her own future in each and every one of them and it just made her want to help the nice men of Stepford even more. Now she loved when men told her which girls to bring. She loved obeying, each and every time she obeyed it gave her a whole new thrill. She adored what Stepford was doing to her.
