Description
Two classic beauties show up today. One problem DeviantArt has is that characters with brightly colored hair are auto-flagged as too similar to anime characters they don't want on the platform and thus auto-rejected by the AI. Pink, blue, green, or other hair colors risk triggering dA's censorious AI, with no way around it—some of the characters I have been posting there for years with the same mathematical model and shape.
The AI systems there are now normalizing beauty to the dated historical standards by which the models were trained, and the things you see must fall along "accepted norms of beauty." The legacy bias built into the models is another reason to hate the AI overlords you never knew about.
I still do all my work by hand, with no AI. I never thought I would see the day 3d art would be considered "retro and cool," but here we are.
