Inspace 0016 RL — Description
Yeah, that's me in the original scene leaving the ground plane in there. You wouldn't know, and a lot of our favorite sci-fi is probably filmed on the concrete slabs of studio lots, but arrgh! It is gone now, and the floor-as-intended is back.

DoF and lighting here is much improved, and a couple small changes in box placement and that's it. You get better as you go, so the number of changes you need to make is less and less.

Also, the lighting on this scene required a rebuild of my effects post-filters. I haven't had a scene where the figures were in semi-shadow and the background bright, so I had to build out a new effects filter to balance everything yet keep the original tonality and look. I saved it, and it gives me another tool in my box for these types of scenes.

We are getting close.
