Minecraft Boss Idea - Kraken — Description
24/08/12 EDIT: Changed it from Giant Clam to Kraken.
[Heres the long awaited boss of Atlantis, the Giant Clam. Obviously he's not as big as the Enderdragon and not as threatening but obviously I'm not going to make it as useless as it looks.]
Ignore everything up there, thats outdated. Said that a giant squid would be a good idea and seeing as I've been meaning to redesign the Atlantis Boss.

Kraken
Mob Type: Boss
Health Points: 400
Attack Damage: When Kraken hits you - 100. When Kraken shoots at you - Maximum explosion damage is 50
Spawns: Atlantis
Drops: Giant Squid Egg
Experience: 40,000
Strategy: When the Kraken spawns, it will spawn with seven crystals that circle around it that regenerate it's life (like the enderdragons one). The Kraken will swim torwards the player, and tries to charge into the player. Don't try to swim back up whilst you're fighting it because it will follow you and if you use the portal the next time your near the ocean the Kraken will jump out and kill you. Once the Kraken has lost 100 health points it will run away from the player (takes three minutes) it will shoot out explosives orbs that look like blue enderpearls until it's completely healed. Once it's healed it will try to charge into you again. Once it's health points are as low as 100 it will become faster and shoots out the explosive orbs as it swims. But unlike when it could regenerate (If you destroy the crystals it won't be able to), the Kraken shoots out explosive orbs that you can hit which makes it easier to finish it of.
