Wardrobe Malfunction - Interlude 7 — Description

Amythexia left the bar through the back door and climbed to the roof of a nearby building where she

watched the cops descend upon the bar. Judging from the behavior of the cops as they got out of their

vehicles The Sins had gotten away and Amythexia silently cursed her carelessness. She had almost had

them but in her eargerness to catch the last one she hadn't paid attention to her surroundings and

she'd been caught off-guard. Worse yet The Sins now new her biggest weakness, she'd have to be

more careful in the future. Amythexia pulled out her phone and checked the time; it told her she had

only been unconscious a couple hours and it was now early afternoon. She still had plenty of time before

her date with Alicia so she could patrol a bit more but between the choroform her system was still

burning off and the small amounts of salt still clinging to her she was exhausted and until she could

thoroughly wash off the salt her powers would be significantly weakened. Just as she made up her mind

to head home she received and alert from the app she designed that tapped into the alarm feeds at her

father's security firm. An alarm at a nearby jewelry store had been tripped but was turned off a few

seconds later though no verification was given. Company protocol said that any alarm that was tripped

had to be verified before being disabled. Since it was on the way to her city apartment Amythexia

decided to check it out on her way home, most likely someone at the store had forgotten protocol and

just turned it off after someone accidentally tripped the alarm.
