Description
A large trad media illustration for the Chapbook Wild Skies by Ilma Qureshi. Trees were a recurring subject in the poems, many as symbols of infinity and eternity, carrying humanity through their stability.
The tree's crown is collaged. There are several dune feathers included; they were "oragnically harvested" by pickung them up from our lawn. I presume they are pigeon feathers, because the local pigeons turns the yard into an MMA pit every spring.
Acrylics and collage, ca.43×62cm. The original is for cale. Contact me for pricing.
