Description
I had the wonderful opportunity to be the first commission a friend of mine ever ordered, and I can honestly say I poured a lot of love into this - Lizzie, his barbarian lass and their other D&D party member Whisper. I hope they love it just as much as I loved working on it!
from Redcoat:
Lizzie is a career soldier turned adventurer with a strong sense of discipline, having been raised by a noble family hit upon hard times. The only time this discipline slips is when she focuses her innate wild magic as she rages, which often manifests in arcs of arcane lightning and a wild glow in her eyes. Before realizing her talent as a warrior, she was originally a military veterinarian who would operate on the horses in her regiment, so she has a love for animals and a strong sense of duty, especially as battlefield conditions would force her to use these skills on her injured comrades. While not stupid, Lizzie often favors direct solutions to problems, often including the use of her axe on the people who maliciously cause said problems. In short, she has a strong belief that in fighting today, the next generation will have no need to do the same.
Whisper is an enigma. Clothed in dark robes, his gaunt face is partially hidden by a clothe mask that covers his mouth. A member of a reclusive but not unfriendly culture of historians known as the Keepers, Whisper has applied himself to learning as much about the strange outside world as he can, and has a penchant for remaining unseen as he observes with preternaturally keen senses. He has an ethereal quality about him, and his ability to hide in plain sight has become something of a running joke in the party. While serious and logical, his time with Lizzie slowly brought out a sardonic wit and more personable side to him, even if he very much remains a quiet listener. Whisper's primary hobby includes the hording of powerful magical artifacts to prevent them from falling into the hands of dangerous, villainous entities.
