FANDOMONIUM RIFT — Description

(Fandom + Pandemonium)
An unexplained calamity caused the fourth wall, the real fourth wall that separates fiction from reality, to shatter.
Rifts across the Earth drop all sorts of items, trinkets, characters, creatures and chunks of fictional worlds into our own. Confused chaos reign through land, seas and skies. Living normal life is practically impossible outside of certain areas of the globe.
And yet, humanity still finds a way to keep surviving.

Will you explore the Fracture Continents and survive against the odds?
Or will you hole up in Earthshine? One of the last bastions where life before the calamity still exists in a fragile state.
Perhaps in the end you will be consumed by an unknown force emitting from deep within the rifts, turning into an Entromania. A twisted hivemind amalgamation of fictional and real stuff hellbent on converting and destroying anything in its path, real or not.
...But maybe you could've been the fragment of humanity that obtained powers from what befell the planet. Known as Deviants, they get their powers from their own magic, own characters, own... fictions. While most use their powers to help humanity, some are willing to raze the world even further.

Regardless, the Earth as we know it is gone. And fiction rules reality now with no fix to the destruction in sight. So tell me, can you survive...
THE FANDOMONIUM
Hey did you know I play Garry's Mod? I love goofing around and building stuff in sandbox and eventually made this! Basically the Fandomonium is a planet scale calamity where stuff from all over fiction suddenly invades our real life world. While most characters are confused, others seek to bring the already fractured and ruined world to its knees. On top of all of fiction invading our world, there seems to be an infectious mass named the Entromania that seek to kill both real and fiction. Creating a new world where nothing outside of them exists.
The Fracture Continents are basically continents that were ruined by the Fandomonium. Most of the world is like this except for a few places. Meanwhile, Earthshine is one of 14 massive megacities. Located in the heart of Eastern Australia and built to give humanity a place to live peacefully, society here is fragile and a little corrupt but it's the only way to live life like it was prior to the calamity.
Then there's the Deviants. Named that way because the first discovered group of them all had DeviantArt accounts, they are humans or was once humans equipped with powers from their own fictional media. To even have a chance at becoming a Deviant and gain powers, one must:
- Have a fictional world and characters (OCs)
- Must be shown publicly somewhere (like on this website or a public social media account for example)
- Gain the acceptance of your fiction (do your characters like you enough lmao)
Anyways, I've had this idea in the back of my head for a short while now and I was bored on Garry's Mod so this is the result! The Fandomonium concept will NOT replace the Really Bad Lowverse as my main project obviously... It's just a cool thing to think about!
...By the way, to all the artists out there with OCs and stories, have you treated them good enough? Because they know who you are. And may fate play nice with your life, should you have treated them harshly...
