Unable to protect the family he cherished most, Spikemon was forced to confront the limits of his own strength. His unwavering convictions began to waver, and he became desperate for a power beyond reason, a power capable of matching any Virus-type Digimon without compromise.
When the Digital World established a connection with the human world, Spikemon secretly ventured into Earth's networks in search of such power. There, deep within the mysterious networks of the East, he discovered an extraordinary antivirus system. Without hesitation, he installed this power into his own data and triggered a radical evolution.
Thus, DefenderSpikemon was born.
No longer a Dragon Warrior Digimon, Spikemon transformed into an enormous Eastern Dragon Digimon, accompanied by six floating engines that orbit his colossal body. He has grown to a scale so immense that his entire body can serve as a living shield for the Digital World itself.
The six engines surrounding him are the embodiments of his overwhelming power. Each possesses a collection of utterly unfair abilities capable of striking fear into even the most powerful Digimon. As the natural nemesis of Virus-type Digimon, DefenderSpikemon has become the Digital World's ultimate line of defense.
Through the mysterious Eastern power he acquired, DefenderSpikemon no longer belongs to a single attribute. He simultaneously possesses the Vaccine, Virus, and Data attributes, an unprecedented existence that transcends the conventional classification of Digimon.
However, his existence comes at an extraordinary cost. His antivirus system consumes enormous amounts of the Digital World's processing resources to reinforce his own data and eliminate threats. His awakening can cause severe system slowdowns, critical memory warnings, and widespread processing delays throughout the Digital World.
For this reason, DefenderSpikemon is classified as a last-resort guardian. Unless the Digital World faces an extinction-level catastrophe, his awakening is strictly forbidden.
He is not a Digimon meant to participate in ordinary battles. He is the final defense protocol, activated only when every other line of defense has failed.
Special Moves
Full-System Scan
DefenderSpikemon scans every entity he designates as a target, extracting its data regardless of concealment, stealth, or anti-detection abilities. Once marked, a target cannot escape the scanning process through conventional means, nor can it rely on immunity to prevent its data from being examined.
Perfect Record
After completing a scan, DefenderSpikemon obtains a comprehensive record of the target's data, including its weaknesses, abilities, attributes, hidden powers, and other concealed characteristics.
Nothing relevant to the target's combat capabilities remains unknown to him once the record is complete.
Dimensional Cloud Archive
All scanned data is automatically transferred to a private extradimensional space belonging exclusively to DefenderSpikemon, where it is preserved permanently.
This archive is also the foundation of his apparent immortality. As long as a complete record of DefenderSpikemon exists within the Dimensional Cloud Archive, he can regenerate himself into the world indefinitely, even if his physical body is completely destroyed.
Furthermore, archived records allow him to retrieve the complete data of any designated enemy or ally, enabling him to analyze, modify, restore, or execute subsequent operations on the recorded target.
Isolation
DefenderSpikemon removes a designated enemy from the Digital World and transfers it into a void-like dimension, where it is frozen in a state of permanent suspension.
The isolated target cannot break free through its own abilities. It remains sealed until DefenderSpikemon decides how it should be processed.
Permission Assignment
DefenderSpikemon directly rewrites the permissions encoded within a target's data.
He can revoke access to specific abilities or remove all permissions entirely, rendering the target incapable of using its designated powers. Once the process is executed, it cannot be interrupted or evaded through conventional defensive abilities, as the alteration is applied directly at the data level.
Erasure Without a Trace
DefenderSpikemon permanently erases a designated enemy from the Digital World.
Rather than merely destroying the target's body, this technique removes its very existence from the world's digital records, ensuring that the erased entity can no longer exist within that Digital World.
Emergency Restoration
DefenderSpikemon restores damaged, fragmented, or deceased Digimon to their original states. The ability can also repair and restore the Digital World itself, reversing catastrophic damage and recovering its original structure.
Even destruction that would ordinarily be considered irreversible may be undone through this restoration process.
Firewall
Passive Ability
Whenever an enemy initiates an attack against DefenderSpikemon, his firewall automatically activates to protect him.
The defensive system operates without requiring conscious activation, intercepting incoming threats before they can cause harm. It functions as an ever-present protective barrier against hostile actions.
Unique Abilities
Rogue Hero
DefenderSpikemon's signature ability allows him to turn the strength of both his enemies and his allies into additional power.
Enemy Exploitation: He absorbs and stacks 50% of the total abilities and attributes of every entity designated as an enemy, adding their power to his own. Affected enemies also suffer the status effects Slowdown and System Glitch, which persist until they are eliminated.
The more enemies he faces, the stronger he becomes. Against overwhelming numbers, his power can escalate to absurd levels.
Ally Synchronization: DefenderSpikemon copies and stacks 50% of the total abilities and attributes of every entity designated as an ally, further enhancing his own capabilities. This effect continues until he voluntarily ends it.
Combined Effect: Both effects can operate simultaneously. DefenderSpikemon can exploit enemy strength while synchronizing with his allies, allowing him to accumulate power from both sides of the battlefield.
The result is an extraordinarily unfair combat system: the more powerful his opposition becomes, the more dangerous DefenderSpikemon becomes in return.
Family Pack
Any enemy sealed within Isolation can be subjected to fundamental data modification and reconstruction.
DefenderSpikemon can rewrite the target's underlying settings, converting it into one of his own kind and designating it as a member of his family.
The transformed Digimon becomes an exceptionally powerful and absolutely loyal family member, no longer acting against DefenderSpikemon or those under his protection.
Rather than simply imprisoning an enemy, this ability allows DefenderSpikemon to permanently turn a former threat into a trusted member of his own family.
