No, i didn't use Corel Painter on this one, only Photoshop. Il used Painter on "AGAIN" but only for background and some details like stubble.
Yes i just got the program. It's amazing but really hard to manage. I use it more for landscapes and abstract paintings than for portraits. I'm still training

True! There are million tools to experiment, and the brush strokes are amazing, like with traditional painting. Fortunately there are numerous tutos on the net to learn to use them.

There are so many beautiful elements in this painting! I love the texture here; it really connects the character to his surroundings, even in color. His hair is absolutely dazzling, and I adore the way you have him looking at us with such pretty eyes. And, again, the texture in the hair is awesome! Great painting!

The colors and the flow of brushstrokes give that effect, it looks a bit like a traditional painting ^^ and the hair looks like it's done with a pallette knife
