Today I felt like searching through my old portfolio from my high school days and found this piece. Sorry for the crappy folds, I had no other way of fixing its folds.If I recalled correctly, this was my very first attempt at drawing backgrounds. I was an enthusiast in industrial or geometric backgrounds since nature seems too simple...I take that back, both natural an geometric backgrounds do have their fair share of complex designs.

I've been looking for this kind of aesthetic in my work, I just could never find a genre to define it under.
I'm actually much better at drawing backgrounds and machines like this than people.
