Shoes in Charcoal

The final criteria was that the piece had to contain a common object, that the class chose to be shoes
so I decided to center my piece around shoes and personify them to meet a theme of friendship.

the big shoe represents my one friend, who is very much a mother-like, role model to me, and the smaller shoe is myself, "looking up" to her.
