A Calm Water Crossing — Description

After watching Thomas go before him Phillip knew he needed to take his time with Cristina. He doubted she would spook like Cesare had but he wouldn't be taking any chances. Once it was his turn he hoped onto her back. She covered the ground poles with ease though she did sniff the tires some when she reached them. After deciding they were lifeless she crossed them as well before splashing into the pool with perked up ears.
"That's a girl." He cooed, patting her neck before resting back on the mare. So far things were great and Cristina was doing wonderfully. After all it was her first show and being in a new place could be scary for them.

The mare seemed to splash around in the water as they passed through the pool, Phillip laughed a bit as he watched her. "If I would have know you liked water so much we could have gone swimming before. Maybe we we get back." He promised. Cristina tossed her head some as though she was nodding yes, making him laugh before he had to focus on the track again.

Finally!!!
This is the picture I'm the most proud of but for some reason it was the hardest to make myself finish. I've never done a show angle like this before so I'm beyond happy with how it turned out. Phillip looks a bit funny but I don't care too much. Cristina is adorable and that's the main thing.
