Pre-Painting Tutorial--New — Description
When I first started painting digitally, I had NO IDEA what I was doing! None! Nevermind the fact that I had actually taken a class on Photoshop. I still knew basically nothing. One of the things that frustrated me the most was the fact that it was so hard to get rid of the white in a lineart scan. The best solution I knew was to take the magic wand, select the white areas, and delete. Yah. I know. You can imagine the mess I had to work with.

So, for anyone who's sweating, crying, and going bald trying to figure out what to do with the white background, this is for you!!! Revised, rebeautified, and updated.

Medium: Pencil, Photoshop CS5
