Wilfred Dragomir is my newest oc who's story I'm still working out. The story I've got so far is kind of a rehashing of another story I posted a while ago. The story is called "my dad the vampire" and it's a dark comedy.

he's physically in his late 20's, btw. Wilfred is kind of a playboy, having been a bachelor for 223 years. Afraid to form legitimate attachments, this is how he chooses to cope if you catch my drift.

eventually along the way... unknown to him he got one of his flings pregnant. Being a vampire and a douche at the time he probably wouldn't have cared and been a deadbeat dad who never bothered to know his own child. HOWEVER, there's a car crash his child lives, but the mom dies and he's forced to take in a grieving 5 year old daughter having no idea what to do and give up his bachelor life. Apparently despite being a vampire himself, his daughter is 100% human as he was bitten, not a biological vampire. He's also forced to take a job as a pharmacy and go to college to support his child. along the way he learns to love her, even playing with Barbies, watching Disney princess movies, having tea parties and even letting her put makeup and nail polish on him. He also becomes protective of her.

he has to drink a ton of energy drinks and coffee to stay awake during the day, take iron supplements to resist drinking blood and wear hefty sunscreen to not burn alive. One of his daughter's teachers is an attractive 30 year old woman that at first he tries to "get with" unsuccessfully.

His daughter is named Juniper, but goes by June and she ages as the story progresses. Her dad calls her Junebug. She's very girly and hyper.

His enemies consist of a series of other characters, from his stodgy old math professor who's class he missed on the first day to his boss at work who's religious but can't fire him for discrimination to a rival vampire/former friend named Faust who now views him as "pathetic" for giving up his vampire lifestyle.

I picture him sounding like Voltaire, the guy who sings "the night" and "when you're evil"

"Don't you have an aunt or uncle? a couple of grandparents? a stepdad? ANYBODY else?!"

fun fact: the idea for this story came from a family guy skit where Brian Griffin wrote a story about a single dad. I just improved it by adding vampires.
