AAAAAAaaannnd about that situation........happens a lot.....and i completely dislike it............just cuts the feeling of the moment!, and happens in most of the anime i've seen......depending on the "feeling" transmitted, i could be:
A) Laughing (since they interrupt them but was like first time......or in a reaaaaaally dumb way)
B) Head falls to ground (since they ruin a very good point [happens a lot in Onegai Teacher, for example]) or da infamous.....
C) Cursing in many languages (most of them unknown for mankind xD....since the moment [and the intense feeling transmitted] is permanently lost [happens too much in Tenchi Muyo, Onegai Teacher, some parts of Love Hina and such i know....])

It's really something when someone thanks me for faving their work, otherwise it's just plain rude.
You mean scenes where the two characters you want to get together go to kiss but then are disturbed by some annoying coincidence? Those things irritate me when it's done once too often on one TV show or book. But still, a brilliant comedy device.
