Kind of reflects how I'm feeling at the moment......and please spare me the bs about worrying that I'll kil myself or other such rubbish. I agreed long ago with myself that if I can't take it anymore I'll just open a bar on an island in Thailand, so should I be gone one day you'll know where to find me...
This is just my way of getting some of my bitterness out of my system...

I think it's important not to take oneself to seriously, that only leads to a whole number of problems... You can have a healthy ego and be confident without being obnoxious... or you can be sad and insecure without being suicidal... Once you get used to the fact that life goes on whatever happens, these little things turn into minor details and you can get on with living your life properly...

i love the idea and the composition! it fits perfectly!
well.. for technical constructive. i would have scraped the pencil a little and then rammed it into the paper one last time + reduced the amount of blue and green tones in the blood drops on the lower left.
anyways.. despite the constructive stuff.. i love this pic! great work!

Why does the deepest hurt produce the best pictures? Hm. That's an old law, it seems. Nothing to criticise in the picture - it's meant to be as it is. And it comes from somewhere deep inside of you. It is well-executed and very effective in conveying the thoughts behind it. Really down-to-spliff, if you ask me.
If you open that bar in Thailand (can't it be some place nearer...like England...a pub, you know...whiskey *drool*), does that mean I can get free drinks because I know you?

As for the pic thanks... It's strange when I'm really hurt I produce a lot of art but the best (and most morbid/sad/deranged) pieces are created when I'm really happy and the sun is shining... Maybe there really is something wrong with me *maniacgrin*
As for the bar, I'm sure we'll find one somewhere that serves us free drinks

I like that minimalistic approach on this one. The drops of "blood" remind me on Pollock's drip art abstracting it into a piece of art from a "real" goodby-letter (so one doesn't have to worry

I know about the blood... I'll have to revamp a few of my pics if I ever find the time... but I'm a follower of the good enough approach, mainly due to a lack of time, if I ever turn perfectionist things like this will not happen again

Very effective, I like the broken pencil in particular...great overall composition.
I agree on what others said about the blood. I would've used the same colour for both the drops and the writing (looks different in my view). Und bei der Bleistift-Schrift hΓ€tt ich vorher so richtig ΓΌbers Papier gekratzt, dort wo er abbricht...
Anyway, that's just tiny details and not really important. Impressive piece anyway.

Yeah I know all the little mistakes in this one, but production was once again very rushed and I suddebnly realized that none of the fonts I had would make a decent handwriting for the blood part so I decided to just fingerpaint that bit in relaity, but then I realised that I only had green fingerpaint and then I did it anyway and took a pic of it and changed the colour in ps and then tried to fit it all together but didn't quite manage and then I had to run as I was late for work and on the way to the subway my... blah,blah,blah...
Yeah, just thought I'd explain that
