Description
Anyone remember this series? This is my little tribute to my absolute favorite cartoon. This is the first time I have drawn them in, gosh, I have no idea how long it's been, but quite awhile, so be kind.Talespin (in my opinion) was ahead of it's time on The Disney Afternoon. Farily complex characters with questionable pasts (especially Kit) and some rather dark undertones and social issues (with some comedy thrown in) highlight this gem of a series. I think it was rather underappreciated by Disney, but then, I think we can say that about alot of their shows. They do something that's brillent, then screw it up. If you have not seen an episode, you could do worse for early 90's animation from Disney TV.
Now that my rant is over, what do you think sirs?

This is one of my favorite scene in the whole show, too.
And I totally agree with your rant.
In fact, I'm the owner of a Talespin fansite that you can find here :

Please consider sending your fanarts there too
Recently, I got the two creators of the series, Jymn Magon and Mark Zaslove, to answer the questions of the fans (check the "Ask the creators" section!)

Yeah, Kit's relationship with Baloo was as complex and child-parent as Gosalyn's with Drake.

There needs to be more TaleSpin art on DA. This is so sweet, I love it

Thanks.
One of these days I should really get off my ass and scan in the other ones I've done. I admit it though, I'm lazy.

You're welcome.
I'd love to see them, if you ever get around to posting them, that is. I understand though, I'm a pretty lazy bugger myself.

O yes! I remember it, but I was little when it was on TV.

Hi, Pinbeak!
I'm new around here and this is my first time commenting on someone else's work.
I think you remember TaleSpin very well, and your artwork shows it. I agree with your assessment of the show and its characters. Again, great work.

I totally agree with ya both Darkwing Duck and Talespin had some very well developed characters with some questionable or troubled backgrounds (we are always wondering what kind of childhood Darkwing had and what kind of abuse he must have suffered as a wee one) and they both deal with a lot of social issues. Very true that both Darkwing Duck and Talespin are under appreciated and it does seem that Disney also would like to forget about them!
August, Volume 2 of Darkwing Duck comes out, Talespin as well I believe but not sure.
Very Nice, Touching Scene!!

I don't see how anyone can't remember this. I mean it was over ten years ago that it was made. It shared the same weekday lineup as Darkwing Duck and Ducktails for crying out loud!

Don't ask me - maybe it was not as popular as Ducktales and DW. As I said, it was sort of underapreciated.
