Alien Inversion Transmogrification in Anaglyph — Description
Animation: 1:50
Dig out those funny colored* glasses, one more time!

Here is, one can only hope, the final animation render from this series; this is about as good an anaglyph version of the "head-shot" of this on-going series (what - 3 years now??) as I can work up.

There is a comparison of the 6 various anaglyph methods I chose from, here:

There is a lot of "ghosting" in this - and I could not find an anaglyph method that I liked that didn't show a secondary image in the left/red eye. Too much of the green comes through in all the glasses I have. I used my own variation on the "Optimized" method, with a bit of source red added - I just didn't like the idea that anything in the scene that was red, would show up as black. I couldn't final any significant downside to my variation using the "Optimized" method.

I did, at least, slice a ½ a minute off of each end of the animation to make it marginally more viewable. (It does seem to freeze for the last few seconds, but the numbers look right. Then again, it's Sunday night and I'm down a bottle of nice Cabernet. )

You can see the "story", such as it is, here:

*Technically, Red/Cyan (Left/Right) but often referred to as Red/Green or Red/Blue glasses.
