It's rare that I see a naga/lamia design that understands snake anatomy.
To elaborate, Zia's "tail" is more like a second torso as snakes actually have very long bodies while the actual tail is in fact rather short in relation to the body. The junction between body and tail is where the cloaca appears way down the far end of the serpent.
She's effectively a centaur only with the anatomy of a snake instead of a horse.

Even that's technically dubious as "taur" comes from Latin word tauros/taurus meaning bull with the word centaur being supposedly derived from ken + tauros which roughly translates to piercing/stabbing bull or bull-slayer. Presumably this name came from a story of mounted archers from a village called Nephele eliminating a herd of bulls that were the scourge of Ixion's kingdom.

These days, I'm a homeowner, with land; but I remember too well what it's like to live in a tiny space. I'm modelling their apartment on a mashup in my head of the apartment I had in my junior year in college, and the first apartment my wife and I had together. They were both pretty different apartments, but the one thing they had in common was that they were pretty much the bottom limit in size for a reasonable space for two people to live in. (Which is why that college apartment had some serious issues: There were four of us crammed into there :-/ )
