Question1: Zia are ya cold blooded like your snake lower half or warm blooded like you were originally as a human?

Question2: Zia being the magnificent super genius you are have you figured out how to clone your self yet as to help with your guy's predicament?

Query: How has the creative process of anime been affected in your world, considering one of its main draws, namely monster girl waifus, is now a very real possibility in real life? *glares at Monmusu fans* Furthermore, has the medium created series more inclusive to the ball of mud, talking plant, spider-giraffe, conjoined goat, and/or living 1991 Mitsubishi Gallant communties, just for example?

Itโ€™s only been a few months since the โ€œincident.โ€ So I doubt much has changed: Giant robot anime, harem anime, fighting anime, magical girl anime, and high school anime are no doubt just as popular as ever, eclipsing everything else by a country mile. That, and the billionth reboot of Pokรฉmon or Digimon.

A few months? Huh, I was certain the event happened roughly 24 months prior to the start of the story; which would be just enough time for Kadokawa to pump out seven or eight more ridiculous brand new isekai anime. (โ ๋ˆˆโ โ€ธโ ๋ˆˆโ )

Reread the first chapter. Chloeโ€™s still trying to figure out how to reach her own tail. Chloe and Zia tell their parents theyโ€™ve been transformed. They talk about who else in their families were transformed. And Chloe checks out a bunch of books on centaurs at the library. Those arenโ€™t things you do two years later; those are things you do a *day* later. You know, โ€œDay Two,โ€ like the title ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thereโ€™s more or less a month between chapters, on average. But chapter one really is only a few days after the incident, tops.

Chloe, do ya like to go on historical reconstructions like HAMA ? Or ya don't have HAMA in youre universe ??

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

phantom-inkerphantom-inker In reply to torrrl [2023-01-17 20:44:40 +0000 UTC]

Chloe is a bookworm and an introvert. Historical reconstructions would require her to, yโ€™know, interact with people more than absolutely necessary.

One can learn much from a history book. Less so from a bicycle (that she can't even ride anymore). So, I'd say, it's a good exchange.

Though, I think, the whole bicycle industry will have to adapt, too. heavy duty bicycles for the more "sturdy bipeds", maybe even a new design for quadrupeds. Though, with centaurs, I guess battery powered electrical "stand-in" wagons might be more a thing for the people that don' want to walk themselves. Like the roman "chariots", but the centaur doesn't pull the wagon and instead stands in it. Who knows. Things certainly would change.

On one hand, Edward Gibbon's masterpiece was the first great history treatise of the modern era, and also directly inspired Asimov's Foundation series.

On the other hand, it has all the biases you'd expect an 18th Century Enlightenment Philosophe to express (including Gibbon's Romanocentric perspective), and its historiography is dated by 21st Century standards.

To be honest, it's kind of disappointing how almost all historiography about the decline of Rome and the breakup of the Western Roman Empire (Gibbon included) are from the POV of the (Western) Romans, and we never get the viewpoint or opinions of the Germanic "Barbarians" or neighboring states like Sassanid Iran on these events.

What about the Eastern Romans? Didn't they write about the collapse?

They definitely did, but I'd be as hard-pressed to find their documents online as I am in finding the Barbarians'.

I once got lucky and was able to buy a bike for just 200โ‚ฌ (my current one cost 1700โ‚ฌ). That's 25โ‚ฌ per volume, even if the bike was very cheap.

In terms of the financial value of this trade, I'm ruined by Pokรฉmon. (Fun fact: I Googled it one time and a million yen is genuinely what you'd expect to pay for the absolute best bike on the market, one that spends all that value on actually being good at bike things instead of just blinging it out.)

Iโ€™m actually with Chloe. The importance of the fall of the Roman Empire actually has a lot of interesting details that goes undiscussed. Like how we lost the recipe to Roman Concrete, and how advance that was. So advanced that the Romanโ€™s may have figured out back then how to make their concrete โ€œself-repairing,โ€ by engineering their mixture to utilize chemical reactions with water to fill in any cracks that form.

โ€ฆYeah, Iโ€™m a history nerd. It still sounds like a fair trade when you already move around faster than on bike!

Commander72Commander72 In reply to Captainface [2023-01-15 21:47:09 +0000 UTC]

lol, read that article recently. We just keep finding out the romans were more and more advanced then we thought. It is scary to think how much was lost in western Europe when the empire fell. I heard estimate for as much as 700 years for the average person in parts of Europe to see the same standard of living under the empire.

Honestly, Zia, reading books is something we should sometimes do. It's even her favourite subject!

I myself got a physical book which I started reading a few days ago. Reading really is impressive.

Speaking of, what does Zia read?
