But up until she saw X-Men '97 season 2 it was Betsy Braddock. AKA Psylocke. The most BRITISH of X-men.
For those of you new to the X-men fandom a brief recap:
Betsy Braddock is a Psychic Mutant who's mind was transferred to the body of a Japanese Mutant named Kwanon because Chris Claremont had an Asian fetish. Claremont intended to reverse this after a few issues but was fired before he could restore the status quo.
Thus the character remained for decades. Even after modern writers put her back in her original body, Jim Lee sexy Ninja outfit is still considered the definitive version. There's also a thing where Mojo gave her robotic eyes to record the X-Men, possible forced relations with Sabertooth, and repeated attemots to bed one Scott Summers. But you're not here for that are you?
Anyway, even though Betsy is considered the brother of Brian Braddock, served as Captain Brittan and was even sereved on the British mutant team EXCALIBUR, Kink does not consider her a Brit and would violently argue against it.
So naturally I put her in the outfit for my own amusement.
