This is a rework of a shot taken in the Fall. I am cleaning up a few shots for another book project. This lovely youg lady is a Uyghur dancer, dressed in ceremonial clothes. The Uyghur (also spelled Uygur, Uighur, Uigur; Uyghur:, Urghurs) are an ethnic minority in Western China. They live primarily in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (also known by its controversial name East Turkistan or Uyghurstan). There are also existing Uyghur communities in Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, UUyghur, dancer, China, Photozbekistan, Germany and Turkey and a smaller one in Taoyuan County of Hunan province in south-central China.
