Lego Ghost Rider — Description

Robbie Reyes, AKA Ghost Rider. Born and raised in southern Los Angeles, Robbie learned quickly that he couldn't afford to be selfish in a dangerous neighborhood. After his parents were killed in an armed robbery, Robbie had to make a lot of sacrifices in order to stay united with his little brother, Gabe who happened to be bound to a wheelchair. He had to get a job at a local car repair shop which often got in the way of his education. Once Robbie turned sixteen, his distant uncle, Eli Morrow gave him a black 1969 Dodge Charger as a gift. When he heard of a drag race being held with a lot of prize money, Robbie jumped at the opportunity to use his new car to move out of the neighborhood. Unfortunately, he got sideswiped on the last lap, almost killing him, but he was saved by a restless spirit dwelling within the car. The ghost of the car's original owner, a bounty hunter named Carter Slade possessed Robbie and started going after local gang members, giving them serious injuries. Robbie found a way to communicate with Slade who told him that he wouldn't be at peace until he got justice on the gangsters who killed him, especially Uncle Eli. Robbie isn't interested in being a superhero, but he wants to make his home safe for the people he loves, so he accepts Slade's terms. Residents soon start calling the fiery vigilante, the Ghost Rider. Even though he's cleaning up his neighborhood, Robbie still feels upset that the only person he can actually trust is Gabe, that is until a certain quartet of New Yorkers visit his neighborhood.
Voice: Jake T. Austin
I like Robbie Reyes as the Ghost Rider because his story has nothing to do with Johnny Blaze or Mephisto, he's just possessed by a vengeful spirit living in his car and is trying to make his neighborhood a little bit friendlier. I had to change his origins in a few ways and I'm allowing him to be free of his "inner demon" before he joins the new Defenders. The figure comes from a Spider-Man 2017 set.
