SPD Pink Ranger — Description

SPD Emergency!

It took me a while to watch SPD. I'm not really cool with cops, but once I watched it I was actually impressed. I'll talk more about it more as we talk about more of these characters, but let's start with Syd. Syd's a cool character. She comes off as arrogant and bougiey at first, but it turns out it's less that she's an inherently jackass person she's just never had to think about how other people maybe don't all get life handed to them on a silver platter. There's an episode where Jack makes her do a boring stake out on her birthday and she gets really pissed off because the idea that her birthday might involve her doing things she doesn't want never occurred to her. When she later learns that orphan Jack doesn't have a birthday, she shares it with him. Her true nature is compassion, she just...needed to get her head out of her ass a bit. Her unique ability is to take substances and incorporate it into herself. For instance, she keeps a chunk of metal that she uses to give herself iron hands. What a great power for a Pink Ranger.
