And some minor lore to patches she has a special kind of magic that makes it so she can alter souls slightly, so she can put them in special containers she makes, and she puts a soul shard from a dying or dead monster in the container slaps it in a doll or plush, (most of them human sized) and they “come back” from the dead. Some people (cough cough nightmare) definitely have put a limit of 1 soul plush ever being fully made, (not fair) so patches has a lot of half made soul plushies lying around, here’s Mr lobotomy, no one knows where she got his soul from nor do they want to know. Think of these soul plushies as minions to her they do owe her their life after all she “brought” them back from the dead.
