Ba'al's a fucking nerd man. He's too old, seen too much, to see people, even other demons, as much beyond white noise. He's polite because he has to be, since he likes to keep a low profile, but don't think he won't choose scientific advancement over people.

Once revered as a god of prosperity due to his intelligence, he wanted to make the world a better place for everyone, using intelligence to place everyone, human and demon, on the same level. despite it all, his people began to depend too much on his and when he refused to continue to be their messiah, he torched the city for their ungratefulness. Since then, he's kept to himself and weeded himself in and out of history as a wise man of the sciences, refusing to use his powers in favor of just ...doing it the manual way. He landed in Seryy for DAMMED and DEVIL's advancements in demonic-human interaction and developments, to study them.
