Description
I did not watch Jojo for ships. I watched Jojo because my husband was watching it, and a gorgeous authoritative man was yelling at some angry children screaming at each other in Olive Garden and I wanted to see where this was going. This ship just happend to eat me alive they're JUST SO CUTE 
Ugh, it was a snowball process; it started off with "oh they work well together" and months later I'm like "THEY TRUST EACH OTHER SO MUCH I CAN'T TAKE IT."
I've actually drawn these two like... 6 or 7 times, like 3 of them making it to tumblr, and I think this is the first one that looked remotely polished. 
I went crazy redoing Giorno's face (I think that's rendition 4.5) trying to get him to look both cute but remotely accurate to the show. His face in this entire scene is precious, and my goal isn't to copy the whole style but to at least get his age/personality somewhere in the ballpark. One odd thing I didn't do right nearly every time was give him big enough eyes... I mean I do want to draw narrower eyes in the long run, but here they needed to be "aaa" big. For some reason, my surprised expressions never look the way I want except for maybe this time. This also felt like the first time I got itty-bitty-just-barely-open-lips right. I scribbled over it with extra color to being in what I did like about the painterly-style but also started with, egh, actually bringing back the pen tool after a little practice. It might stay... I've found it makes higher resolution pictures than this significantly more bearable. My computer can't handle drawing really big lines on a really big picture. D:
