Lightsaber glow effect tutorial — Description
As promised, here is a short concise lightsaber glow tutorial after getting some questions on how this can be done by hand with no glow effect filters. I developed this technique when I started drawing Star Wars commissions in high school. The very first one, which I didn't get a picture of unfortunately was Jedi Master Yoda slicing through battledroids and also featured cleaved metal glow effect.
