SPECTRES — Description
Inspired by an RP with and

Some sketches detailing some of SPECTRE's equipment and helicopters. As you can see, not much has changed since the MSF and Diamond Dogs era. Most if not all of the weapons and vehicles they use are simply updated versions.

SPECTRE Soldier: The typical combat uniform a Merc of SPECTRES wears. The Security team that patrols Mother Base also wears this same uniform. The one depicted here is equipped with an AM MRS-4A1 Assault Rifle, and an FIM-99 Honey Bee launcher.

MACHT 37 9mm: Based upon the original MACHT 37 from 1984, this variant is simply an updated version converted to accept the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. It features a folding stock(based on the G36C's) as well. This version also utilizes a curved magazine as opposed to the straight ones used on the original, and is depicted with a suppressor, fore-grip, and Red Dot sight.

CGM-25: Updated with Javelin parts, the CGM-25 or "Cluster Guided Missile-25" can now act like a Javelin, going into a death dive on a target before deploying into 8 separate missiles for maximum damage.

MTH-66DAP(Direct Action Penetrator): An updated version of the original UTH-66. The MTH-66 focuses on providing gunship support in the shortest time possible. This is thanks to it's 4 powerful GE YT706 turboshafts. It is usually armed with 2 70mm(or 127mm) rocket pods, and 8 ATGM launchers. The MTH-66 can also carry up to 11 troops into battle if needed(Hence it's role as a Medium Utility Helicopter as well). It's main weakness however is that it's much more vulnerable to enemy fire. This is remedied with an Aetonite/Ostonium shell, but this in turn sacrifices it's immense speed. This chopper is preferred by one of SPECTRE's elite pilots, Callsign "PEQUOD".

HP-48N Krokodil: An updated HP-48 enhanced all-weather capability. Powered by two Klimov TV3-117 turboshafts, the Krokodil can arrive on station within a respectable time period, and loiter for hours. Being part Gunship, the HP-48N is built like a tank, and can take massive amounts of punishment, especially when equipped with an Aetonite/Ostonium shell. Armed with a 30mm 2A42 cannon, 2 127mm Zuni Rocket pods, and 8 ATGMs, the Krokodil can effectively provide air support to those who need it. The HP-48N can also take up to 8 fully armed troops into battle. This chopper is preferred by one of SPECTRE's elite pilots, callsign "MORPHO".
