This is amazing! Thank you for spending the time to put this together. :3
I'll be keeping it in mind for when I attempt a traditional piece like you've got - I've always done digital because I thought I didn't have the right materials Β and digital is easier to fix screwups...
I should be good enough now that I can do it with traditionals too. Maybe.

Ok thanks pademo I already burnish using my white to blend it out then keep doing more layers and whit and i get a smooth rich effect, and yes I do use prismacolour premier, and about the Β hair i was asking if there was a specific way to ''draw the strands'' not about the colouring.
Thanks for tutorial XD

Nah, I really don't know what else to tell you than what's written in the tutorial. You'll just have to do it a few times.

Sorry for the question, but how do you create clothing textures without he tooth of the paper Β showing through, like in the rikka picture, and can you please, please, please give us some insight on how to draw hair like you do so that colouring is easier, sorry for any inconvenience i just want to get better, I'm only eleven,
Thanks,Β

I think it comes down to what brand you use when talking about color laydown/tooth of the paper. I don't know what brand you're using, but if you're using Prismacolor you shounld't experience that problem. The solution would regularly be to color with high pressure, or use a white colored pencil to get rid of these ''pigments'' (as shown in the tutorial).
And as for the hair, didn't I explain that in the tutorial? x3 If you have any questions about what I said in my explanation it would be better to ask me those, because I'm not too shure what to tell you.

This is very helpful even if I can't really use that because I neither have enough pencils in different shades nor any talent in drawing humans

Wow, this was an interesting read.
I really admire traditional artists, and I often wonder how they accomplish what I take for granted from a computer program

Really, really, helpful! I always try to avoid colouring the white parts in the eyes...why didn't I realise I can use the white pen? And it seems like a lot of people are using the same model!^^
