Hat Fix... Again — Description
Well, after a week of working on my hat, I fixed it up. I remember posting a picture not too long ago about re-stuffing it, but the stuffing was still lumpy since I "borrowed" some from my stuffed animal lol. I couldn't stand the red stripes anymore since three had already fallen off. So I re sewed/ had to buy more material. I bought some actual stuffing and, if anyone is making one, the key is the stuffing, it may look funky when your done sewing but once you stuff it, it gives it a lot of personality. You have to reallllly stuff that sucker, it's what gives it the ... look i guess. Another thing, when making the stripes don't make the mistake I made and make the red stripes the same material as the sash. that particular material threads easily and gets the hat messy, it won't look good as you might of thought, stick to fleece like the black and purple of the hat. The satiny/shiny material is fine for the sash, I salvaged the same one I had before, all I did was actually spend time sewing it. The reason why my hat looked... beat was because I was literally trying to sew in the car when I went to Disneyland that day -_- procrastination i tell you.
