America — Description
Or more properly, Emerika.
Hah. First uploaded thing in ages and it's basically a stolen idea. Sort of. I'm a big fan of *humon and ever since she drew a few pictures of Denmark as Sealand/Zealand with his sibling household (different regions of Denmark) I've wanted to do something for America. My original idea was simple: Midwest, East Coast, West Coast, South. But I decided, if there's any West Coast, it's going to be America or Sister America. So I just did Midwest, East Coast, and the South, as well as Hawaii and Alaska. I did use state flags to represent certain parts, which I'll explain. Each state is basically made out as stereotypes in this picture. I used both ideas from searches online and my own Chicago opinion

East Coast- New York. The sterotype of the east coast is that... well, basically that everyone there is a lawyer. She's tough and 'sassy' or whatnot, and slightly obsessed with health foods and rights for people (occasionally lack of rights for people)
the South- Texas. The stereotype we have for Texas is, well, cowboys. And rednecks. And talkin' all funny. South here is kind of a quiet cowboy. He acts racist a lot, but doesn't talk a lot because he mostly speaks in, yup, Spanish.
Midwest- Illinois. More on a personal level that I chose my home state, but the stereotype for midwestern states is all the same; everyone is a farmer, and that's all there is to it.
Hawaii- Hula girl! Of course is the stereotype for Hawaii. According to the internetz she should be chubbier or something. But yeah. She's very spiritual, likes ancient rituals, and is nice to tourists who give her money. She does also surf quite a bit.
Alaska- I wasn't so sure about this one, so I went with the "Who lives in alaska? Polar bears!" stereotype. Alaska just kind of hangs out in the North with Canada.
Washington, DC- Did something specific for DC, because I wanted to use Uncle Sam. I figured, hey, young America couldn't have made his own constitution. Besides, the US gov. is mostly parallel to British gov., with different names; therefore I decree Uncle Sam and Britain are now brothers. XD

I did some pictures of them as young'ns too. Of course NY and Texas never really got along well, and Illinois has a little beret because Illinois is in the original French territory, which somehow amuses me. And I imagine Sister America is "California" because she's such a California Valley-Girl stereotype.
I want to see all the states SATW fied.

Ahh I did this like three days ago and the art is crappy and I don't want to post it but I will.
Also no I didn't forget about commonwealths just gimme a bit.
