History

Childhood: lived with his mother. his father left without knowing sysley existed so he was raised by just his mom. his mother was with him until he was the equivalent of 11 in human years. she adored im and coddled him and was like a perfect mom to him and helped him extremely. the 1500s where no joke however, and his mother was caught during the witch trials that where happening. she was burned at the stake while sysley was forced to watch and was hunted down later by the same people.

(real quick head cannon I got for demons that will help make this make sense. Demons can die all they want by outside forces, especially weaker ranked demons like Sysley's mom. however, they come back about 9.9/10 times, with the scars from whatever killed them however, if the demon is killed by a religious person with religious tools like a cross holy water, holy pyre etc., it kills the demon for realsies. they don't come back ever. and that's what happened to his mother. that's why sysley is still alive and covered in scars all over him. he's been killed in countless ways by countless people but none of them religious, so he keeps coming back)

Teen years: around the age of 14-18 ish (equivalent for humans not actual age) he was sold as a sex slave and used around. he does not talk about this part of his life, and this is predominantly where most of his scars came from. eventually escapes with the help provided by a priest ironically. he later has a relationship with the priest that they eventually break off when he's about 20 ish.
Adult years: sysley as a young adult from 25- whenever is actively searching for his dad and wants some answers. he wants to meet the man and wants to know if his mother is actually gone for good and want to know where he's been the past 450 years
