B:WGD - The Riddler — Description

The quiz king of Gotham and Batman's "intellectual equal".
The Riddler
After the Batman's first victory against The Joker, Edward began growing envious of his intellect and decided to challenge him to a battle of the brains. Conveniently, he had just captured his ex-supervisor/mortal enemy, Daniel Mockridge, and would use him as a primary cog in Riddler's plan.
Batman, Robin, and their friends would be sent on a wild goose chase while he psychologically tortures Mockridge, but starts remembering Batman's prime detective skills; as a contingency plan, he sets bombs all around the city's most populated areas in case he tried to cheat.
Despite his through planning and thought process, the caped crusaders foil Riddler's plan, save Mockridge, and put him in Arkham. Edward does get a bit of peace when Batman exposes Daniels' crimes, and locks in in Blackgate Prison; despite that, Riddler vows to prove he's the most brilliant mind in Gotham.
