EBC: Alucard's Training Assignment — Description
Well this was a blast My first art using Photoshop, and I'm actually pretty proud of it! I wanted to use a slightly different color scheme with Alucard to see how it would look...what do you think of it? I think I'm going to change his eye color from gold to green, just because it contrasts more. ^^

I hope I did everyone's markings right! Some of them were kinda complicated. I think I really nailed Juno and Scaeden though.

Alucard and his opponent circled one another. The younger apprentice was looking for the right moment to lunge in and attack the more experienced tiger. Scaeden had told them to work together so Alucard could get a taste of how an advanced tiger apprentice fought. Meanwhile, Drusa was showing Maroo how to take quick attacks at a foe, using speed and small size to the advantage. Scaeden had told Juno, an advanced apprentice, to have a practice battle with the full hunter, Ayrin. Alucard thought she was pretty, and was slightly disappointed when he wasn't chosen to be her opponent. But Shadow was a skilled opponent, and proved to be more of a challenge than the jaguar seemed to be. Scaeden was winding around the matches, observing and studying the fighters. He'd apparently been gone a long time, and so it was natural that he was curious to see how these new cats fought, and how much the older apprentices advanced. Whenever the lynx leader was near, Alucard would force himself to hit harder and move faster; he wanted to show Scaeden that he was a worthy apprentice.

Suddenly the larger tiger bowled Alucard over. He took the role's momentum and leaped back onto his paws and whipped around to face Shadow. She'd taken advantage of his distraction. Keep your head in the battle! Alucard growled at himself. Shadow reared up on her hind legs and was lunging at him.

"Great job, Juno!" Alucard heard Ayrin's voice behind him, but didn't turn to see. The orange tiger leaped up to meet Shadow's advance with a growl of determination. The gray/black tiger let out a surprised roar as Alucard met her attack, and for a moment they stood on their hind legs, trying to wrestle the other under them. Finally he pushed her back with a fore paw and they dropped back onto their hind legs, and circled one another again. Alucard's gaze slid past Shadow to where Juno had Ayrin pinned by the throat and tail. Scaeden was walking by them, looking at the apprentice with silent approval. So he just walked by me too?! Alucard thought with a jolt. He hadn't noticed. I hope he didn't see me zone out... Shadow snarled at him and sent an unsheathed paw his way. It caught Alucard's ear but he ducked to avoid the blunt of it. This is no time to worry about how others see me. Alu realized. If I give it my all, that's the best I can do.

Without warning, Alucard leaped at Shadow's stomach to knock the older apprentice down. I'm Alucard! I can't lose!
