False Sovereign — Description

The me you've seen until now was but an echo of mine, and this body before you, real as it is, bears no difference.
I have dreamt of this world and time, once upon another reality, and so they came to be. I have been dreaming since then.
You are but a byproduct of that dream, and yet you would rise up against me?
You, who only exist for my own entertainment?
Can't you see? My awakening is the end of the world.
My unreachable end is, in itself, the undoing of all that was and might be, unendlessly.
Think you to be capable of such a feat? Go on, then.
Elevate yourself to the highest peak, claim the Throne of God, inherit my solitude, and despair in the choice of your own end!
Or instead meet your match on my jet-black blade. See your mad ambition crack and scatter in the mirror of my shield, and reflect on the foolishness of your enterprise, before I return you to the stillness of the universe!
And as you fade away to blissful oblivion, know that I am.
And was.
And always will be.
