Description

In Johto, there are two deities that are well known, AND famous throughout the region, being Lugia, and Ho-Oh. Lugia was said to be the mentor of Kanto’s Legendary Bird heroes, but this has never been confirmed by them officially. Ho-Oh is the mentor of the Legendary Warriors, and is rumored to be the one who brought them back to life after their sacrifice.

. Ho-Oh is the more forgiving of the two deities

. He grants eternal luck and happiness to those who stay true to their morals, and do good deeds

. He thinks that a self-sacrifice is the most noble thing anyone could ever do, hero, or not a hero

. Ho-Oh has a very optimistic outlook on life, loving everyone equally, as long as they're a good person.

. Ho-Oh views people like how one would view a puppy. He adores them.

. Unlike Lugia's more hands-on and combative way of mentoring the Legendary Birds, Ho-Oh takes a more creative approach, creating specific quests and goals to fulfill for the three warriors to master their skills, and rewarding them handsomely

. Despite being a pacifist, he will not hesitate to put an evil-doer in their place, and harshly at that. He is said to be terrifying if he has to resort to violence.

. Like Lugia, Ho-Oh's true age is ambiguous, but he looks to be in his early twenties.
