Medusa — Description
One of the three Gorgons, Medusa was the only one who was mortal. There is a particular myth in which Medusa was originally a beautiful maiden, but who desecrated Athena's temple by lying there with Poseidon. Outraged, Athena turned Medusa's hair into living snakes.
The most persistent Medusa myth is of her being beheaded by Perseus.

Medusa is being played by lockstock , while the snakes were collected from all over the 'net, including one from mystiquemoons , and 'ratsnake' from randomjhovall . the background was a freebie from renderosity .
