Like, if you wanna write something in the same vein (Lara Croft meets some jungle worms) then go for it!
But the writing/story is the part of what I make that I'm most proud of and I'm a little protective of it. When people start putting their own spins on it/suggesting that I do it differently/start writing their own narratives in the comments then it starts to bother me a bit. Like, that the part that I've put the most creative energy into isn't good enough for them. (I should bring that up again with the therapist lol)
That's also a decent chunk of the reason why she's Lana Craft and not Lara Croft. I don't feel like I have any creative right to the character, so writing a story about her just doesn't sit well with me. Having this version, Lana, be a a parody of that allows me that creative freedom to do what I like with her.
So again, I appreciate you asking first.
If you want to write about it, I just ask that you have it be your own take on the character (Lara Croft or some derivation thereof) rather than mine.
