unfired terra cotta clay, 19"Well, a little late for "Mermay", but... my wife tells me I should make more mermaids.
She isn't finished, and I already have someone who wants to buy her. Pushing the envelope on technique here. We'll see how the base in particular holds up under 2200°F firing... 
Not sure if I like the pectoral fins or not, but thought I'd try.
