I think it's better to just explain the kink honestly to people you know. I got lucky to have a partner who at least understands and does little things to cater, like putting a blanket over us during foreplay so that her head isn't in the blanket. There are worst things and as long as you explain that it's not necrophilia and you know it's an impossible kink; they're the ones that are in the wrong for kink shaming. Headless is just extreme partialism and partialism is very common.
