Basil — Description

Ocimum Basilicum from the family Lamiaceae. More of this series can be found in my originals, here.
I love herbs, and they are essential when it comes to good food for the holidays! Most of the herbs that come to mind can be found in this mint family, like oregano, thyme and rosemary. I find most of them easy to grow in the spring through the early fall. While the rest I've mentioned won't last through a frost, rosemary is harty and can make it through a mild winter.
Edit: I just noticed one of her color fills wasn't right and fixed it.
